Proposal:

I propose to solve the following live or competition brief:

- The Manchester Art Gallery Brief

Working with this brief will benefit my practice in these ways:

- pushing myself out of my comfort zone by aiming to create something for children as well as adults

- give me experience in seeing how my illustrations can be applied to a variety of products

- challenge me on working quickly on a large amount of work in a short time 

I will be aiming to communicate:

- a sense of play and adventure to appeal to children and reflect the nature of the gallery

- some of the galleries best features and what you can expect from a visit there

- something interactive and dynamic that can then be cut down into smaller vignettes
To and audience of:

- children and adults visiting the gallery

- tourists and those visiting, possibly internationally

- collectors of contemporary illustration products and homewares
